Show The Attraction of School- In the olden time school, apparently, apparent-ly, had little attraction for a boy. Shakespeare writes of, "The whining school boy, with his satchel, Aud t-biuing morniDg face, creeping creep-ing like snail Unwillingly to school." That is not the way the average boy and girl now goes to school. School life is made more attractive, the studies are better arranged, and the teacher, in itead of being stern aud forbidding, going around with cane or birch in hand to fljg pupils, is now usually on the best of terms with them, both in school and out. Tbe world improves and nowhere is that better seen than in the school. |
