Show DICKERSON'S MESSAGE. Governor of Nevada Criticises Mod of Railroad Taxation. Carson, Nev. The message oi Governor Dickerson was read in both houses of the legislature on January 19. The message makes numerous recommendations which the governor thinks should be carried into effect. 1he state treasury, he says, shows a balance of $800,000, while the tax able property of the state has increased in-creased more than 10 per cent. During Dur-ing the last nine months, $10,000,000 worth of bullion was extracted from the mines and $84,000 was collected as bullion tax. The governor criticises criti-cises the present mode of railroad taxation, and advocates abolition ol state board of state assessors. The retention of the state police is advised. ad-vised.
