Show CLARION'S" FIRST HARVEST CELEBRATION. Governor Spry and Other Notables to Be Guests of the Occasion. To Be Held Sunday, August 18 Invitation General to All. The harvesting season on the fields of Clarion is now in fall sway. The fields are rapidly turning ripe and it bids fair that the portion of crop which has not puffered from the lack ef water Will give an exceptional good yield. Three reapers and bindeis are moving over the fields, from daybreak day-break to sunset, reaping the grain, Every one at the colony has a chuerful look and a happy smile on ; his face, rejoicing in gathering the fruity of their labor. To share the v joywith their neighbors, who have helped them so much toward success, u grahd Harvest Celebration will be h'jld at ho colony on Sunday, August 18, beginning at 3 o.clock in the afternoon. Addresses by notable epeaksrs will be made, the Gunuison City baud will be hi attendance, well-kuown talent of Gunnison will participate, id refreshments will be served. ' Governor William Spry, Rabbi Isaac Landman of Philadelphia, and Koine of the leading citizens of Salt Lake interested in the success of the ooiouy, will be among the guests. An elaborate program is being arranged ar-ranged and no effort will be spared to make the celebration a success. All the neighbors and friends in the valley are cordially invited.
