Show WAR WITH AUSTRIA BREWING. Broad Hint Given European Powers Not to Meddle in Balkan Affairs".' London. Lines of demarkation are being prepared at Tchatalja within which the plenipotentiaries of the Balkan kings will meet Nazim Pasha, commander-in-chief of the Turkish army, and arrange the basis for a peace conference. Peace with Turkey i3 now assured, but war with Austria seems to be brewing. Just as the present war followed the peace pact between Turkey and Italy, London is convinced that war will now ensue between the four kings and Austria the latter possibly supported sup-ported by Italy and Roumania. Russia has warned Roumania to go slowly. This is taken as a hint that if Roumania does attack Bulgaria or Servia, Russia will send an army over the Danube. She has thousands of troops now concentrated between Odessa and Galatz and Kishinef. The situation is anything but reassuring. |
