Show Funeral of John T. Christenson Christen-son at Manti. The funeral for John T. Cbristen-bob Cbristen-bob whose demise the Gazette mentioned men-tioned last week took place Sunday from the tabernacle in Manti, interment inter-ment beiug in the Manti city cemetery, ceme-tery, following impressive services commencing at S :30 o'clock p m under direction of Bishop Ejar of Manti South ward where the family resides. A number of relatives and friends of deoeaeed attended from this place. Eulogies were spoken of the departed by Elders John Larson, Peter Christiansenand NC.Myrupof this place and Jens Mickleson, Pres. Lewis Anderson and Bishop Kjar of Manti. John T. Christenson, born forty-one forty-one years ago 23d of the next cominR month, was a native of Gunnison, sou of the late Christian Christenson and Apuie Jensen, his mother surviving besides three brothers and two sisters, namely Christian K. and Joseph Y. this city, Audre.v E. of Wyoming, Mrs. Andrew Anderpon of Centerfield and Mrs. John Jensen of Axtell. He married dbout seven years Bgo Miss Margret Peterson of Manti, who survives sur-vives with two small children. For several years deceased Lad not been in good health. An operation at the hospital was deemed neceBsary to undergo, following which he suc-ctimmeJ suc-ctimmeJ after a few days. He was of kindly disposition, faithful in church duties and well respected, as attested by the large turnout at the obsequies. |
