Show Burial of D. S. McCurdy. Jake Israel and Frank R. Ball, representing the United Commercial Travelers of America, were in pharge of the remains of D. S. McCurdy brought here from Salt Lake City last Sunday for interment, Funeral services were held on the 1 iwu in front of the Christen-soa Christen-soa hotel, at 4 o'clock, Bishop Joseph Ouristenson of the L D.S. Church had charge and a quartette from the same body of worshipers fnrnished the singing. Following a prayer by Elder John Larson an impressive ritual was read by Messrs Ball and Israel of the commercial com-mercial travelers fraternity. The Hon. Judge Cherry and Bishop Christenon addressed the mourners and friends assembled, followed by a benedictioq, from Elder Fred Swal-berg. Swal-berg. The casket was of beautiful design and the many floral tributes testified of abounding love and friendship to ward the departed. After viewing the remains , iuterment took place in ehe Gunnison city cemetery, |
