AN ORDINANCE CONFIRMING THE assessment upon the property on both sides of Sixth East street from tho south sido of South' Templo street to the north side of Third South street, in paving district No. 26, for tho purpose pur-pose of providing for tho grading, gut-toring gut-toring and curbing, and paving thereof. Bo It ordained by tho city council of Salt Lako City, Utah: Section 1. That tho assessmont list made by tho city treasurer as corrected, approved and completed by the board of equalization and review, heretofore duly appointed by tho city council for that purpose, of tho proporty abutting on both sides of Sixth East street from tho south sido of South Templo street to the north sido of Third South street, in paving district No. 26, of Salt Lake City, for the purpose of grading, guttering gut-tering and curbing, and paving said portion of said street, is hereby confirmed, con-firmed, and tho assessments made and returned in said completed lists aro hereby confirmed. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND re-enacting an ordinance amending Section 273 of tho Revised Ordinances of Salt Lako City of 1903. passed by tho pity council of Salt Lako City, Utah. March 12, 1906, and approved by tho mayor of Snlt Lake City. March 13. 1900. nnd adding a now section to Chapter Chap-ter XXI, to bo known as Section 275a. That an ordinance "amending and re-enacting Section 273 of tho Rovlsed Ordinances of Salt Lako City of 1903," passed by tho city council coun-cil March 12, 1906, and approved by tho mayor March 13, 1906, bo and the' samo Is horoby amended and re-enacted so as to road as follows: Section 273. Three Garbago Districts. Dis-tricts. There shall be and there aro hereby established within tho limits of Salt Lako City three (3) garbage districts, dis-tricts, to be known and 'gnated as Garbago District No. 1, cubage District Dis-trict No. 2, and Garbage District No. 3. Tho board of health is hereby empowered em-powered to employ not exceeding fourteen four-teen (14) men, each with team and wagon, to remove garbago from said districts at an expense not exceedjng four dollars and fifty cents ($4.50) per day for every day actually employed at 3uch work. Sec. 2. That a now section Is hereby added to Chapter XXI of the Rovlsed Ordinances of Salt Lake City of 1903, to bo known as Section 276a, as follows: fol-lows: Section 275a. Boundaries of Garbage District No. 3. Garbago District No. 3 shall comprise that portion of Salt Lako City bounded on the north by the south sido of Ninth South street, on tho east by tho city limits, on the south by the city limits, and on the west by State street. Sec. 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith aro hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. Sec. 4. This ordinance shall take effect ef-fect upon approval.
