Show EARLY RESIDENT DIES this morning at 8 andrew C jensen age SO years was found dead in bed at the home of his laughter daughter mrs william hotter who resides just north ot of this city mr jensen was apparently well last evening and ate a hearty supper and retired feeling fine it Is thought that he suffered a a paralytic stroke towards morning which caused his death he and his wife who reside at blackfoot Black toot idaho were spending the winter at the kotter home mr jensen was born april 17 1843 j at haaring HJ arIng denmark Den marlL he came to utah in october 1854 locating at payson where he lived with a mr rawlins until 1863 when he came to brigham city he married miss anna maria carlson ot of this city february 13 1866 he removed to hyrum la in issa here he ha met with an accident whilo while working in a saw mill losing several ot of his fingers he moved to blackfoot Black toot in 1898 he was a man of 0 sterling character a faithful member ot of the morman church in which he held many positions ot of trust being a patriarch at the time ot of his death surviving are the widow and the following sons and daughters hyrum L jensen and mrs willard sorensen of lost river idaho andrew C jensen of pocatello idaho mrs joseph F jensen and mrs eugene hale e of roseland idaho mrs william kott hotter er of 0 this city and a host ot of grand children also a brother andrew jensen ot of this city funeral services will be held at the fourth ward chapel in this city friday afternoon at 1 the body will be shipped to blackfoot Black toot idaho tor for interment |
