Show By Betty Wiley 624-3215 All five of our Antimony wrestlers wres-tlers qualified to go to state wrestling wres-tling with other members of the Piute High School team Feb. 10-12. 10-12. Adam King, Tyson Miller, Jordan and Cole Montague and William Wil-liam Porter are all from Antimony. Cole Montague was the third place winner for the T-Birds and others placed as Piute High had four fourth place and four fifth place finishers. Rick Grant has returned from the hospital in Panguitch and we hope he will have a speedy recovery. recov-ery. Jerry Savage has had surgery in Cedar City and is home for two weeks, but he will need to go for more surgery. Students at the elementary school had their Valentine's Party Monday, Feb. 14. Each student made their own Valentine box and it had to be an original. There was everything from a castle to a model of the Titanic. Eugene and Valeria King returned re-turned from their trip and found the ice making machine in their refrigerator refrig-erator had malfunctioned. Water had run all over their new oak floor in the kitchen. Van and Betty Wiley accom- panied Dustin and Ginger Brindley to the Manti LDS Temple on Saturday. Sat-urday. Every one of Dustin' s brothers and sisters, mother and dad, were waiting when they came out of the temple. They all had lunch at Sally W. East's Bed and Breakfast. Break-fast. Irva Sudweeks, Bill and Joyce Sudweeks and Bill's son and his girlfriend also attended the temple session. Verlene Gleave had quite a fall, landing on her face, so she has two black eyes, as well as other bruises. Van and Betty Wiley attended a meeting at Ruby's Inn for the People Peo-ple for the USA (PFUSA) and went on to the state capitol on Friday for a legislative breakfast to meet with the legislators. Jerry and Janene Savage went to Las Vegas on the weekend to see Janene's father, Blaine Beebe, who is quite ill with cancer. Leon Twitchell drove his parents par-ents north where Clarence Twitchell had a heart doctor's appointment. Mona Black is in Alaska to be with her daughter, Shauna, for the birth of her eighth baby. She flew up, but with all the worry of the airplanes going to Alaska, maybe she could catch a dog sled team coming south! |
