Show Antimony flews By Betty Wiley 624-3215 Holly Westwood traveled to Alton Al-ton to visit with her parents', the Carl Heatons, and family. Leonard Cox, Marion's husband, hus-band, was very lucky. He and his two sons were riding four wheelers up in Antimony' Canyon and on one of the trails he hit a slick place and he and the bike tumbled down the hill. Given the seriousness of the acccident, he was very fortunate to receive only a head injury that required about 40 stitches and other cuts and bruises. He is now doing fine. Jerry Savage had his surgery and it turned out well. If he continues to do well, he should be home or at least go to Keith's, his son, on "Friday. "Fri-day. Bill and Jane Wiley traveled to Nevada where Jane stayed with her mother, Beverly Frederick, and Bill came back home. Jane and her mother will come home in a few days so that Beverly can stay here for a little while and visit. Claudia Degler has had knee surgery and Holly Westwood kept her two children one day, then Natalie Na-talie Porter kept them which was a help while Claudia recovered. Van and Betty Wiley and Tom and Bill Wiley attended the funeral , in Richfield for Randy Henrie. His mother was raised here in Antimony Anti-mony as Dorothy Riddle. His brother, Raymond, is the son-in-law of the Van Wiley's. His wife is Roma Wiley Henrie. Hal and Athalia Jensen were in Salt Lake City on Monday for his appointment at the Veterans Administration Ad-ministration Hospital. Van and Betty Wiley were in Provo for doctors appointments also on Monday. The Antimony LDS Ward Conference Con-ference was very well attended and the men's choir furnished a special number during Sacrament meeting. Mark Alan Gottfredson, son of Douglas and Janice Gottfredson has been called by the LDS First Presidency Presi-dency to be a mission president, with the mission to be announced at a later date. His wife Christine Harmon Gottfredson will serve with him. His dad, is the son of Utahna Riddle Gottfredson, who was raised here in Antimony. Doug and Janice Gottfredson have a summer home here and the old family home ' still stands here. |
