Lauren and Rachel Mack Fullerton, Calif, came up with Melissa Mack Durrell to visit their aunt Cassie. Caught their first fish, went hiking and camping in the area beauty. Memberships are available now, monthly pot lucks are held. Cliff rives and friend, Chris, Las Vegas, Nev. are up for a weekend week-end of fishing. Cliff found an unfriendly un-friendly hive of bees who gave him any stinging memories. Ann Rives' mother sent him back to the city for his own safety. Lots of bottling going on in town, if anyone has extra fruit or veggies to share, contact Ruth Wilson. Wil-son. Cassie Mack and Sharon Sawyer Saw-yer went to Cedar City yesterday. Cassie is "canning" up a storm. This season of the year, everyone is hunting canning lids, bottles and veggies and fruits to put in them. It gets to be an obsession. The Evans family reunion was held at "Red Poiht" again this year. A large crowd was in attendance. The highlight was a birthday party on Sunday for uncle Charlie "Lynn" Evans for his 90th birthday. His family was there and also his sisters, sis-ters, Mae Swapp, Salt Lake City; Gai Wilcock, and Hope Dalton, Washington. There were 147 in attendance for the three days. Mary Beth Shmutz of Washington Wash-ington City visited Karl Lowder and scouted around for a good place to hunt on the Paunsagaunt. Kurt Sawyer, Aimee, Colt and Brett Sawyer of Mesquite, Nev. visited with May Sawyer on Friday and Saturday. May went to Antimony Anti-mony on Saturday evening to visit . the Ken Roberts family and Tracy Matheson of Washington. Darol and Beth Allred spent a day in Escalante. Darol attended a county meeting and Beth visited Fay Alvey. A surprise birthday party was held on Thursday for May Sawyer at the New Bryce Motel. Granddaughter Grand-daughter Amberly Roberts and Cassie Cas-sie Mack were the instigators. Ten friends were in attendance. A large number of the Hatch LDS Ward attended the Tri-Stake Regional Conference in Panguitch last Sunday. Some of the ward members sang with the choir. |
