Show Area EMT's Hold Annual Banquet BRYCE Garfield County Emergency Medical Technicians, from Boulder to Panguitch, gathered for their annual Awards Ceremony and Banquet at Ruby's Inn prior to the Christmas holidays. Special provisions had been made for a tribute to retiring EMS Coordinator Bob McCullough, who was awarded a 20-year pin, an EMS clock, an engraved EMS pen and a hand-held "Palm Pilot" electronic pocket organizer. An overview was given of his 20 years of struggle and accomplishment accom-plishment with furthering Emergency Emer-gency Medical Services in Garfield County. Other EMT's were recognized recog-nized for their outstanding years of service and commitment including Sandrca Francisco, Tropic and Kim Soper, Panguitch, who. were awarded 20-year pins, engraved pens and clocks. Recepients of 15-year pins were Alfred Foster, Tropic and Karleen . Mclnelly, Bryce who received plaques, pins, and engraved pens. Husband and wife EMT's Ron and Susan Harris received 10-year pins, plaques and engraved pens as well, along with fellow EMT Verna Go-etzinger Go-etzinger of Escalante. A 5-year pin and stethoscope was awarded to Linda Crawford also of Escalante. The group enjoyed a great feast and program held at Ruby's Inn and each EMT received new squad jackets. |
