Show Hnricvillc News By Sarah Rose 679-8777 Delpha Rose spent a week in St. George at the Max Rose home. Max and Kathy Rose spent the week in California attending a hospital hos-pital board meeting. The Ken Piatt family made a trip to Logan to attend the blessing of their new grandson, Adam Piatt, who is a son of Nathan and Lori Piatt. Nathan is currently attending school at Utah State University. The Henrieville scouts made a trip to Provo to attend a BYU basketball bas-ketball game. Those traveling were Klay, Kytlin and Klinton Chynoweth, Christopher Mathews, Zane Cox and Cody Mortensen. They were taken by scoutmaster Cliff Mathews and Bishop Klin Chynoweth. The LDS young women held their annual New Beginning program. pro-gram. It was a very successful, uplifting up-lifting evening. Those participating participat-ing included Shelly Chynoweth, Dorothy Ramirez, Ruth, Sarah and Esther Johnson; Cecile, Heidi and Savannah Thompson and Tarynn and Krista PlatL Also participating in the evening event were parents of the young ladies, the Young Women's Presidency and LDS bishopric. The night before Region Drill Team competition last week, mothers moth-ers of the Henrieville girls hosted a surprise dinner for those on the team. It was not only an enjoyable but a real memorable evening and one to fill scrapbook memories for each girl. Gary and Sandy Johnson and daughter, Esther, made the trip to Cedar City to attend drill team competition and while there were able to visit with daughter, Rebecca Johnson who is presently attending Southern Utah University. |
