Show NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) THE FIVE COUNTY ASSOCIATION ASSO-CIATION OF GOVERNMENTS GOVERN-MENTS (FCAOG) will hold a PUBLIC HEARING to discuss the project determined to be applied for the FY 1996-97 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Small Cities Program. THE FCAOG FY 1996-97 CDBG WORK PROGRAM CONSISTS OF THE FOLLOWING: The project will provide technical planning assistance to eligible communities in preparing plans addressing both short and long-term objectives, and developing programs to meet those needs and objectives. The FCAOG will also update the regional Consolidated Plan and provide HOME Program delivery, In addition the project will capitalize the FCAOG Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) and provide RLF Administration. Finally,, the project will provide Job Training Administrative Support. COMMENTS will be solicited at the hearing on the project scope, implementation, ana its effects on residents. Comments may also be submitted in writing at the hearing. Details of the project applied for, including information on the expected amount of federal grant money to be received, win be discussed. The FCAOG will respond res-pond to specific concerns and questions of all citizens, particularly particular-ly those who may be immediately impacted by the scope of work of the project beingapplied for. THE CDBG TUBLIC HEARING HEAR-ING will be held during the regular meeting of the Steering Steer-ing Committee of the Five County Association of Governments Gov-ernments which begins at 1:30 P.M. on Wednesday, April 17, 1996 in the City Council Chambers at 110 North Main, Cedar City. The CDBG public hearing itself will begin shortly thereafter. The Five County Association of Governments announces they are accepting applications for FY 1997 SSBu (Social Services Block Grant) Discretionary Funds. These monies will be made available to Southwestern Utah for the period of July 1, 1996 through June 30, 1997.
