Show Cindy Stewart listens intently as Congressman Bill Orton explains his philosophy and announces his PANGUITCH Third District Congressman Bill Orton kicked off his 1996 re-election with a stop at the home of Kyle and Stewart in Panguitch where several interested Panguitch residents and supporters gathered to hear his comments. "I've chosen to kick off my campaign in the homes of residents around the Third Congressional District to demonstrate my belief that there are appropriate roles for all levels of government from the family, to local, state and federal government," Orton explained, candidacy for re-election to the office in the House of Representatives to which he was elected in 1990. Bill Orton Announces In Panguitch "My campaign message is about families and communities and how we can join together to help one another accomplish what we cannot do alone. I believe the role of the federal government is to be a partner and tool to bring us together as a people and a nation to define our common goals, establish our priorities, identify resources, and agree upon the parameters within which we will cooperate to attain our common goals," Orton said. Orton said he feels he is having a positive impact on the budget process. "If re-elected, I will continue to serve the people of Utah in the best way I can, seeking not the Democratic answer, nor the Republican answer, but the right answer to the many issues facing our families today and in the future, Orton said." Orton was elected to Congress in 1990 and is serving on the House Budget and Banking Committees. Com-mittees.
