Show Quinton Harvey Mecham TROPIC Quinton Harvey Mecham, 37, of Tropic, Utah returned re-turned to his Heavenly Father on Dec. 13, 1999. He was born Oct. 7, 1962, a son of Stanley L. and Koye Mable Bushnell Mecham. He married Camille Casperson of St. George. They later divorced. Harvey graduated from Bryce Valley High School in 1980, where he was active in sports. He attended at-tended Utah Technical College in Orefn and received a degree in Heavy Equipment Operation. He was given the Outstanding Student award in 1981-82 in his field. He was employed at Ruby's Inn as a heavy equipment operator and also worked as a leather craftsman. Harvey loved music and playing guitar and he wrote songs and poetry. po-etry. He loved and excelled at rodeo, ro-deo, especially bareback, bulls and clowning. He loved the outdoors, riding horses and hunting. He was a great father and loved his little boy, Sam. He was an active member of the LDS Church, where he was a Primary Pri-mary teacher. He loved the little kids and they all loved him. Harvey always thought of others first and would do anything for anyone. Everyone loved him and he will be missed. He is survived by his father, Stan and step-mother, Nellie Rae Mecham; son, Samuel Bronc Mecham; four brothers and three sisters: S. Clinton (Lori) Mecham, Mclain B. (Merrilee) Mecham, and Bode McCade Mecham, all of ANTIMONY Our loving mother, companion and grandmother, grand-mother, Marguerite Nielsen Gleave, 81, of Antimony, passed away Dec. 13, 1999, in Panguitch. She was born Dec. 6, 1918, in Widtsoe, to Ole Peter and Mary Jorgensen Busk Nielsen. She married mar-ried Marcus Earl Gleave, May 7, 1935, in Witdsoe. The marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple in May of 1963. She is survived by her husband Marcus of Antimony; children: . Calvin (Barbara) Gleave, Antimony; Anti-mony; Charleen Brown, Salt Lake City; Robert Levere' (Joleen) Gleave, Riverton; Chaunna (Mike) Zimonja, Vancouver, Canada; Karen (Van) Hansen, Sandy; Julie Ann (Jim) Walker, Eureka, Nev.; 22 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-greatgrandchildren; brothers: Ruben Nielsen, Hurricane; Jack Nielsen, Spanish Fork; sister, Reeda Tanner, Overton, Nev. She was preceded in death by parents; brother and sisters: Grant Nielsen, Thelma Brandstrom, Del-lareen Del-lareen Thompson, Ileen Reynolds; ' fj ifil Harvey Mecham Tropic; Jan W. (Angie) Fullmer and Debra Koye (Jim) Miller, all of Henderson, Nev.; Francine (Stonnie) Pollock and Barbie . (Mark) LeFevre, all of Tropic; grandparents: Iris Bushnell, Hen-rieville Hen-rieville and Malen A. and Marian Mecham, Tropic. He was preceded in death by his mother, Koye; brother, Zane Malen; grandfather, Elmo Bushnell and grandmother, Angelyn Mecham. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 18, 1999 at 1 p.m. at the Tropic LDS Ward Chapel. Alfred Hoyt "Alf Crofts RICHFIELD Alfred Hoyt "Alf Crofts, 85, of Richfield, Utah, passed away Dec. 7, 1999, in Richfield, Utah. He was born Oct. .10, 1914, in Orderville, to John Edward and Mary Jane Hoyt Crofts. He married Ona Russell, Sept. 18, 1941, in the Mesa LDS Temple. He was a partner with his father and brothers in Crofts Lumber Co. on Cedar Mountain and Richfield, later moving to British Columbia and Vernal. Alf was also a partner with brothers in J.E. Crofts & Sons Mercantile Retail business in Orderville Or-derville and Panguitch and a partner in Davis-Crofts Motor in Price. He served an LDS mission to the Texas-Louisiana Mission. He worked in both ward and Stake Sunday school presidencies in the Kanab Stake, and was first counselor coun-selor in the Orderville Ward Bishopric. Bishop-ric. He was a member of the Rich-' field Rotary Club, served two terms in the Utah Legislature from Kane County, and served two terms on the Kane County School board. He is survived by his wife Ona Russell Crofts, Richfield; brother, Leo (Vernell) Crofts, Vernal; sisters, sis-ters, Leah (Charles) Esplin, Cedar City; Mary Jane (Ardell) DeMille, Rockville; and Karma Criddle, Carmel, Calif. He was preceded in death by hisparents; brothers, Edward Arlos Crofts, Josiah Crofts, and John Crofts; and sisters: Lola Burrows and Eva DeMille. Funeral services were held Friday, Fri-day, Dec. 10, 1999, at the Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary chapel, with Bishop Robert K. Jepson officiating. offi-ciating. The family prayer was offered by Larry Gardner and prelude and postlude music was played by Ardyth Turner. The invocation was offered by Von Davis. Janene Ward sang "How Great Thou Art," accompanied by Ardyth Turner and a sister, Karma Criddle, was a speaker. Kay Toone played an organ medley, "Favorite Hymns," and Robert Larsen was a speaker. Remarks were then made by Bishop Robert K. Jepson. June Barton and Wyone Orchard f I ' ( : Alfred "Alf Crofts sang "Each Life That Touches Ours For Good," accompanied by Karma Jean Wittwer. The benediction was offered by Robert T. "Bob" Winsor. Pallbearers were Darol Crofts, Delin Crofts, Craig Heaton, Skip Houston, Russell Barton and Alan DeMille. Honorary pallbearers were Vaughn Heaton, Eugene H. Russell, Rus-sell, John C. DeMille, Donald Crofts, Leo H. Crofts, Darwin Jackson, Von Davis, and William C. Bolander. Burial was in the Richfield City Cemetery and the dedication of the grave was offered by Don Cannon. Compassionate services were rendered by the Richfield 2nd Ward LDS Relief Society sisters.
