NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ESTABLISH A SPECIAL SERVICE DISTRICT PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Garfield County Commission intends to establish a special service for fire protection and recreation programs in Garfield County, State of Utah. J The boundaries of the proposed district will cover the entire county of Garfield, State of Utah: Beginning at the intersection of the main channel of the Colorado River with the line between Townships Town-ships 30 and 31 South, thence West along said Township line to the line between Townships 33 and 34 South; thence West to the line between be-tween Ranges 6 and 7 West; thence South to the line between Townships Town-ships 34 and 35 South; thence West to the line between Ranges 7 and 8 West; thence South to the line between be-tween Townships 37 and 38 south; thence East along said line to the main channel of the Colorado River; thence Northeasterly up said channel to the point of beginning. Services to be provided within the proposed service district are fire protections services for the protection protec-tion of life and property against fire and the elimination of fire hazards in Garfield County, State of Utah, and for recreational purposes throughout the county. Taxes may be annually levied upon all taxable property within the service district and fees and charges may be imposed to pay for all or a art of the services to be provided y the service district. PUBLIC NOTICE CSBG APPLICATIONS ACCEPTED The Five County Association of Governments announces they are accepting applications for Community Commu-nity Services Block Grant (CSBG) funds for fiscal year 2000. These monies will be made available to Southwestern Utah for the period of October 1, 1999 through September 30, 2000. These funds are designed to assist low income residents and are to be used to impact the causes of poverty pov-erty in the local area. PUBLIC NOTICE GARFIELD COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 1999-2 AN ORDINANCE REENACT-ING REENACT-ING A GARFIELD COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 1986-2 IN ITS ENTIRETY, AMENDING EXHIBIT EX-HIBIT A TO GARFIELD COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 1986-2. AS AMENDED BY GARFIELD COUNTY RESOLUTION RESOLU-TION NO. 1987-3, AND AMENDING AMEND-ING THE ORDAINING LANGUAGE LAN-GUAGE OF GARFIELD COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 1999-1. WHEREAS, on or about the 8th day of March, 1999, the Board of County Commissioners of Garfield Gar-field County, State of Utah, adopted Garfield County Ordinance 1999-1; and WHEREAS, Garfield County Ordinance No. 1999-1 contained language which mistakenly repealed Garfield County Ordinance No. 1986- 2 in its entirety, when the board of County Commissioners of Garfield County did not intend such a repeal, but intended only to amend Exhibit A to Garfield County Ordinance Ordi-nance No. 1986-2, as amended by Garfield County Resolution No. 1987- 3; and WHEREAS, Garfield County Ordinance No. 1999-1, mistakenly included language of resolution rather than ordinance in the ordaining ordain-ing clause of the ordinance. NOW THERETOFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of Garfield County, State of Utah, as follows: Section 1: REENACTMENT OF GARFIELD COUNTY ORDINANCE ORDI-NANCE NO. 1986-2: Garfield County Ordinance No. 1986-2. mistakenly repealed by Garfield County Ordinance No. 1999-1. is hereby reenacted and reaffirmed in its entirety. Section 2: EXHIBIT A TO GARFIELD COUNTY ORDINANCE ORDI-NANCE NO. 1986-2, Exhibit A to Garfield County Ordinance No. 1986-2, as amended by Garfield County Resolution No. 1987-3, is hereby further amended to read as follows: BUILDING PERMIT FEE SCHEDULE Anything built for less than $1,000.00 will not require a building build-ing permit. A building cost of $1,000.00 to $10,0000.00 will require a permit fee of $50.00; from $10,000 00 to $100,000.00 the permit fee will be $50.00 plus $5.00 per thousand dollars over $100,000:00: and for a building cost over $100,000.00 the permit fee will be $500.00 plus $1.50 per thousand dollars over $100,000.00. A one percent state fee will be added to total. In the event additional inspecting, inspect-ing, plan checks or professional services are required by the Garfield County Building Inspector, the cost of such services shall be paid by the applicant. Section 3: ORDINANCE LANGUAGE: The ordaining language lan-guage of Garfield County Ordinance No. 1999-1, is amended to replace . the language "be it resolved" with the language "be it ordained." Section 4: REAFFIRMATION OF REST AND REMAINDER: The rest and remainder of the provisions provi-sions of Garfield County Ordinance No. 1999-1, are ratified, reaffirmed, and shall remain in full force ana effect.
