Show James Houston Tink' Hatch PANGUITCH James Houston Hous-ton "Tink" Hatch, 58, of Panguitch, Pan-guitch, died Aug. 10, 1997 in Panguitch. He was born Dec. 3, 1938 in Panguitch to Meltiar V. and Ella Cleo Veater Hatch. He married Janice Talbot, Nov. 15, 1957, in Panaca, Nev. The marriage mar-riage was solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple Nov. 15, 1958. He was a lifelong stockman and rancher. He served many years on the Panguitch City Council and in other civic positions. posi-tions. He was currently serving on the South Central Utah Telephone Tele-phone company board, the Garfield Gar-field Memorial Hospital board, the Upper Sevier Soil Conservation Conserva-tion District, and the BLM advisory advi-sory board. Tink was an active member of the LDS Church where he served as Bishop of the Panguitch LDS 3rd Ward. At the time of his passing, he was serving as Branch President of the Long Term Care Center Branch at Garfield Memorial Memo-rial Hospital. He was an avid sports fan. Tink was a member of the Panguitch Pan-guitch High School Championship Track and Basketball teams in 1957. He drove the school bus for Garfield County School District for the students who live in Hatch. He is survived by his wife, Janice T. Hatch of Panguitch; daughters Christine and Elizabeth Hatch of Panguitch; brothers Howard V. Hatch, Ira Wallace Hatch, Arthur Hatch, all of Panguitch; Pan-guitch; David Hatch of Cedar City; sisters Ina Hanks of Pan- if"---- James H. "Tink" Hatch guitch and Janet Leatham of Og- den. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sons: Steven Hatch, Anthony Hatch, and Dan Talbot; a brother, Carl Hatch and a sister, Alta Yardley. Funeral services were held today, Thursday, Aug. 14 at 1 p.m. at the Panguitch LDS Stake Center Cen-ter (550 S. 100 W.) with Bishop Del Hulet officiating. The family prayer was offered by David W. Hatch. Prelude music was provided pro-vided by the Panguitch Combined Choir accompanied by Pam Ro-bison Ro-bison and directed by Elaine Matthews Mat-thews Randy Hatch offered the invocation, invo-cation, followed by a tribute by Raigan Hatch and a musical se lection, "O My Father" by Monica Thiriot and Jessica Yard-ley. Yard-ley. Speaking next was Russell Bulkley. Megan Yardley and Jessica Jes-sica Yardley sang "I Need Thee Every Hour," accompanied by Monica Thiriot. John Yardley spoke, followed by a vocal selection, "If Tomorrow Tomor-row Never Comes," by Than Cooper and Jimmy Cooper. Closing remarks were by Bishop Hulet, followed by the choir singing "God Be With You Til We Meet Again," accompanied accompa-nied by Pam and directed by Elaine Matthews. Delin Roundy offered the benediction. Flower girls were nieces under the direction of Collette Nay and Raigan Hatch. Pallbearers were Mac Hatch, Kasey Hatch, Jason Hatch, John Yardley, Paul Hatch, Randy Hatch, Ron Hatch and Tom Hatch. Honorary pallbearers were Jim V. Yardley, Jordan Hatch, Justin Hatch, Brandin Hatch, Heath Hatch, Luke Yard-ley, Yard-ley, Dan Yardley, Ira Hatch, Boyd Hatch, Jeff Leatham, Travis Hatch, Ryan Hatch, Shea Hatch, Beau Davis, Rusty Davis, Bobby Hanks, Mike Hatch, Brian Hatch, Kelly Hatch, Glenn Hatch, Scott Talbot, Curtis Talbot, Ryan Talbot, Tal-bot, Jason Wright, Joe B. Wright, Kale Hatch, Rory Hatch, and Josh Hatch. Interment was at Panguitch City Cemetery where Brandin Hatch dedicated the grave. Funeral Fu-neral Directors: Neal S. Magleby & Sons, Richfield. |
