Show Ccr.r.cnvilte z-ji By Marva Fletcher 679-8521 Golden and Roxanna Johnson received word that their little great-grandson great-grandson Kobe Shane Johnson, passed away. He was nine months old and had been fighting to stay alive ever since his birth. He was, the son of Nikki Johnson andi grandson of Shane and Barbara-Johnson Barbara-Johnson of Clearfield. Golden and Roxanna attended funeral services and burial in Ogden. They went to Cedar City on business Wednesday, then spent the weekend with family members at Pine Lake. Lark Reynolds is home now and wife Bea said he is glad to be there and seems to gaining a little strength every day. That's good news. George and Ada Thompson attended at-tended the wedding of their grandson Beandon Peeples in Las Vegas, Nev., this weekend. Alma and Anita Fletcher took AC and Rita Hammer to Hole-in-the-Rock for a spectacular day on Friday. It was a fun way to celebrate cele-brate their wedding anniversary. On June 12, Mel and Phyllis Beard, Alma and Anita Fletcher and Don Mangum went down Sheep Creek. The views are magnificent. Jim and Erma Clarke attended their family reunion in American Fork Canyon on' June 10-12. All members of their family were present pres-ent but two. They reported having a great time. They also attended a breakfast with the Leeds Lions Club at Oak Creek Campground by Pine Valley Mountain on June 19. Jim went to Salt Lake City to see doctor Rosenberg to have his knee checked and surgery scheduled for a day soon. Cub Scout Day Camp was held June 10 at Kings Creek Camp-(See Camp-(See CANNONVILLE on page 5-A) CANNONVILLE From page 3-A ground. There were about 120 Cub Scouts and Leaders in attendance from the Powell Point and the Panguitch Pan-guitch districts combined. Many thanks to all the leaders and parents and two Scouts from Tropic, Levi LeFevre and Steven Feltner who helped to make this day camp a success. loe and Rae Hughes, along with Verle and Rose Palmer went to Washington to the Smith Reunion. They visited at the graves of their great-great-grandparents. After a program there, they came back to Kanab for lunch sponsored by the Lions Club, where they learned more about their ancestors. Joe and Rae went to Page, Ariz., and stayed overnight then came back to the Paria Cemetery with Verle, Rose and Kenyan Palmer for more program pro-gram and lunch. They have more grandparents buried at Paria. Joe Hughes received word of the death of his cousin, Anona Stewart. She lived in the Mt. Pleasant area. |
