Keith and Deanna Patterson spent time helping the scouts learn first aid. Any time spent with youth is time well spent. Thanks to Keith and Deanna. Lots of Henrieville folks attended the Escalante Stake Conference where Myron Cottam was sustained as stake president with Klin Chynoweth as 1st counselor and Reed Munson as 2nd counselor. Kenny Goulding and Ed Dunham have been down on the ranger moving cattle. Kathy Goulding and her girls Sheila Orton and Stephanie Roberts were in Cedar City one day last week. Ernie and Wynona Henderson celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary by going to St. George to see the Bar J Wranglers concert. The highlight of the trip was their visit with aunt Fawn Goulding. Mazie Breen, her daughter, was staying with her while Dora and Harold Monson were in California. Kathryn Nielson took Doyle up north to the doctors'. We here all is o.k. They have recently covered their home with vinyl siding. Looks nice. The Senior Citizens Center served a delicious Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday which was well atended. . Doris Liles filled in for Kathyn Nielson. Just a reminder: Maybe we can get those dead weeds raked up now before the snow comes. Our town needs some TLC. Let's show some pride in the place we live. Wynona Henderson spent a day visiting her mother Elsie Goulding at the care center in Panguitch where she also visited with Sara Littlefield and Ruby Moore. Rae and Jim Smith had Rae's brother Dewey Woolsey of Bicknell and Dane Reynolds stopped by on his way home from Idaho. Thelma Smith spent three days in Provo at a postmasters' convention. Zettie Kinter took over the post duties. Thanks to the Lions Club, new TV equipment has greatly helped our TV reception. If you need a new broom, several varieties are available from any Lions Club member. Visiting Amy Clark were her son John of Clinton, Iowa, and his daughter Suzie Clark of Salt Lake City. |
