The Palomino stallion has been named Junior Reining Champion for 1995 by the Utah Quarter Horse Association (UQHA). The stallion is the pride and joy at Lizard Ranch where the Spencers named Utah's top Junior Reining Champion by the Utah Quarter Horse Association for 1995. run about 20 head of horses. Other honors accruing to Amariller in 1995 include being named Junior Reining Champion at the Moab Quarter Horse Association (MQHA) show, named among the top 10 in Arizona's Sun Circuit junior reining competition in February, and, in a field of 24 horses, 3rd AIl-Around Junior Working Cow-Horse. Amariller is trained by Don Mayer of Axtell and claims Blondys Dude as grandpa and Watch Joe Jack as grandma. He will be shown in AQHA events in 1996 in heading, heeling and junior reining. All broodmares at the ranch are direct daughters or granddaughters grand-daughters of AQHA champions, Debbie Spencer said. |
