Show PIONEER WOMAN DIES SUDDENLY mrs J B mcmaster succumbs wednesday at home of daughter funeral services for mrs aars vera forrest mcmaster widow of the late bishop J B mcmaster ol of the first ward ot of this city who died suddenly at 3 wednesday afternoon oon at the home of 0 her daughter mrs alre K C wright south ath east street will he be held saturday afternoon at two at the first ward chapel under the direction of bishop abel S rich following the services interment w will 11 1 be in the family plot at the city cemetery mrs mcmaster who had been in poor health during the winter had suffered with a pain in her back and side tor for two tavo days previous to her death but was otherwise as usual when she was stricken ill wednesday dr A D cooley was called but she was beyond medical skill when the doctor arrived mrs mcmaster was born august IS 18 1852 in scotland she emigrated to utah in 1869 coming direct to brigham city where she has since resided she married james dick at salt lake city and to this union five children were born he died many years ago and in february 1887 she married J B D mcmaster mcalaster of this city to this union tour four children were born he died april 15 1913 she was a faithful member of the mormon church and for a number of years president of the first ward relief society she was also a member of the old folks committee of the ward she passed thru many trying experiences in life which she bore with fortitude surviving are three children mrs A N fishburn of tremonton Tre monton john mcmaster mrs IL C wright of prig brigham city also 21 grand children and one brother john forrest of this city |
