Show PIONEER MOTHER CALLED BY DEATH margaret marg aret J harding onwillard of willard died wed morning in this city Al margaret argaret jones harding age 76 years onest the tew few remaining pioneers of 0 willard died at wednesday morning at the home ol of her laughter daughter mr mrs esther H wood goodno no 9 south ath west street in this city of 0 complications following an illness of 0 several months mrs aars harding was born at clymor danshire gan shire near neath south wales sept 1849 she daughter of benjamin and esther dayis davis jones she was babli baptized zed into the mormon church when eight years of 0 age in her native land in 1866 she emigrated to utah walking the entire distance across the plains and after a six weeks journey arrived in salt lake city in august of 0 that year she came came direct to Wll willard lard where she has since resided on november 2 1867 she was married to alma hording harding in the endowment house hoise I 1 in salt lake city by the late president wilford woodruff she had been an ardent church worker and for many years was a I 1 teacher in the relief society at willard mrs airs harding was the mother ot of six children four of whom with her husband preceded her in death she Is survived by two children mrs esther 11 wood and benj D harding of 0 this city eighteen grand children and one great grand child surviving also is one brother joseph jones of 0 salt lake city funeral F une ral services will be held saturday ur d ay afternoon at 1 at the willard ward chapel under tile the direction of bishop ephraim white interment will be in the willard cemetery |
