BBfeVV Hl Mr. and Mrs. Carl Morris Carl Morris' Noie 50th Wedding Day Friends of Mr. and Mrs. Carl (Almyrta) Morris joined with them to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at the Senior Citizens Center in Panguitch on Monday at a noon luncheon. The couple was married Oct. 7, 1935, in Vanceburg, Ky. They have two children, a son, James C. Morris, Cincinnati, Ohio and a daughter, Almyrta Carlene Riding, Kanab. They have four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mr. Morris retired from the B&O Railroad in 1973 and his wife retired from the State of Ohio School for the Blind and Deaf. They have lived in Cincinnati and Columbus, Ohio, moving to Panguitch in 1975. They have wintered in Arizona for the past two years and will leave this week for Mesa, Ariz, where they will meet relatives from Texas, Salt Lake City and Tempe, Ariz, for a family reunion and another winter in Arizona. .Music at the Monday celebration was provided by Barbara Heaton, Debbie Frandsen and Jahis Henrie accompanied by Marilyn Erickson. |
