Show Mr. and Mrs. George Whitelock Whiteloeks To Note Golden Wedding Date The family of Keith and Sarah V. (Bonnie) Whitelock of 123 Ray Street, Ogden, will host an open house October 26 in honor of their parents 50th wedding anniversary The event will be held at the LDS Mound Fort Second Ward Chapel 952 Childs Ave The family requests no gifts. Mr and Mrs. Whitelock will also be honored at a family dinner October 25 at Andy's Chuck wagon in Ogden Mr. and Mrs. Whitelock were married Oct. 26, 1928 at Panguitch, later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple Mr. Whitelock was born Sept. 20, 1904 in Kanab to William S and Emily Young Whitelock. He has worked under the Civilian Conservation ( orps He has also been a sheepherder, a construction worker, a mine worker in Idaho, a fireman at DDO and Hill Air Force Base. He retired from HAFB in 1963. Mr Whitelock has served in many positions in the LDS Church. At the present time he is first assistant to the high priest group leader in the Grays Lake Ward, Soda Springs, Idaho Stake Mrs. Whitelock, the former Bonnie Sevy was born March 25, 1910 at Panguitch to Myron F. and Lydia Cameron Sevy She spent many years as a cook and waitress in Panguitch and in the Ogden area She was ' formerly employed at Blackington Cannery and Defense Depot. Ogden She has served as Junior Sunday School Coordinator, MIA teacher, primary teacher, visiting teacher and at the present time is Relief Society President in the Grays Lake Ward at Wayan. Idaho Mr and Mrs Whitelock are presently owners and operators of Whitelocks Cafe, campground and boat dock at the Blackfoot Reservoir at Henry. Idaho They have six sons and daughters Mrs Robert B (Bonnie) Cox, Clearfield; Mrs. John A. (Barbara) Anderson. Mrs Stephen L (Louise) Sessions. and Mrs. Gerald P (Karen) Hillaker all of Clinton; James M and Ronald K. Ogden. They also have a niece and nephew they raised. Mrs Richard M (Mavis) Strange, Perry, and Norman L. Sevy, Ogden. They have 30 grandchildren and 31 Rreat-grandchildren. |
