Show Local and Society TOWED Evelyn Partner Mr. and Mrs. Harry Partner of Henrieville announce tho engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Evelyn, to Stephan Grayson Parry, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Parry of Cedar City. The bride-elect is attending Weber State College at Ogden where she is studying elementary education. She will continue her education at Southern Utah State College. Mr. Parry is a student at SUSC in the field of business. He has served In the Spanish Florida mission for the LDS Church and is currently on a Stake mission. The young couple will be married March 20th in the St. George Temple. The couple will make their home in Granger. WILLDEN REID Mr. and Mrs. Warren L. Willden of Pleasant Grove announce the marriage of their daughter, Sharon, to Sherll Reld. son of Mrs. George Reld and the late Mr. Reid of Panguitch. The young couple were married Feb. 11 In Provo. The bride will remain In Panguitch until April, then join her husband in San Diego upon his return from Seattle, Wash., where he will be stationed with the U.S. Navy. SIIURTZ HUNTINGTON Mrs. Stanley Huntington Mr. and Mrs. Hal Shurtz of Escalante announce the marriage of their daughter, Val-eree, to Stanley Huntington, son of. Mr. and Mrs. A. Wiley Huntington of Hatch. The young couple exchanged vows Feb. 13th In the St. George Temple with many friends and relatives In attendance. They returned here for a reception that night In the South ward church with a large attendance and many useful gifts. Don Heap me'd the program with a talk to the newlyweds by Fay Alvey, duet by VIckl and Kim Nelson, song by Julie Shurtz, Doncne Llston and Patrice Griffin, acc. by Dawn Griffin; reading Charlene Ilea-ton, song Wiley Huntington and daughters Betty and Lynn, song Louise Llston, Deon and Betty Alvey, Marlene Haws, LaFaye Bailey and Geraldlne Llston, accompanied by Areola Gates. Valeree and Stan talked briefly, thanking people for coming. In the reception line were, besides the young couple and their parents, Lowell Huntington best man, Vlckl Nelson matron of honor, bridesmaids were Carol Graf, Betty and Lynn Huntington, Terry Gates, Julie and Brenda Shurtz. The flower girls were Jaleen and Stephanie Shurtz, Jody Julan-der, Cyndl Farnsworth and Vickie Huntington. The newlyweds will live In Cedar City and attend college and hold down their jobs. |
