Show MATILDA DIED AT fl T OGDEN summons came saturday spent most of H her er life in brigham city where she reared a large family mrs airs matilda hanson widow of the late james hanson of this city and a utah pioneer of 0 1869 died saturday afternoon at her home twenty first street ogden when she moved to ogden about five years ago she was accompanied by her daughter eliza hanson who has been her constant companion mrs airs hanson was born in malmo sweden august 4 isis 1848 and came to utah in settling in brigham city where she resided until may 1920 when she moved to ogden she was married to mr air hanson in 1870 and her husband died in this city about thirty years ago during her long residence here she was a member of the fourth ward and active in church work it was here she reared her large family of boys and girls to honorable manhood and womanhood oman hood and spent the greater part of her life she was a noble wife and loving mother and nd through her devotion to husband a and 0 d children to her friends and to her church she endeared herself to all who knew her she had bad ny relatives lela iela tives and friends in this community who were pained to here of her death surviving are the following children mrs airs chris flygare george hanson eliza hanson and david hanson of 0 ogden joseph W hanson of battle mountain nev hyrum and william hanson of malad idaho norman hanson of cetonia tetonia Te Tet tonia onla idaho and mrs airs simeon hanson of 0 vauxhall Vaux haU canada thirty five grandchildren and fourteen great areat grandchildren also survive funeral services will be held wednesday afternoon at I 1 at the fourth ward chapel in ogden the hapel chapel is located on madison avenue between and streets in berment arment will be in the brigham city cemetery eme tery |
