Show CELEBRATE GOLDEN WEDDING ANNIVERSARY Mr. and Mrs. Henry F. Sevy Mr. and Mrs. Henry F. Sevy of Roy observed their golden wedding anniversary Oct. 15, and were honored at a family get-together at their home on Sunday, Oct. 11. Mr. and Mrs. Sevy were married October 15, 1920 in Pangultch, and in September, 1922, they received their endowments in the St. George Temple. Mr. Sevy was born April 2, 1895 in Panguitch. a son of Mi-lo Henry and Sarah Jane Lister Sevy. He had been a farmer and sheepherder in the southern part of Utah until moving to Ogden in 1950. He was then employed at the old Ogden Arsenal. later, after moving to Roy, he was employed by Roy City until retiring In 1963. He Is a veteran of WWI. and a member of the Sons of the Utah Pioneers. Mrs. Sevy, the former Odess Christ ona Allen, was born April 18. 1901 in Tropic, a daughter of John Millard and Lydla Almira Losee Allen. She was active In the Relief Society for several years. Both are members of the Mormon Battalion. Mr. and Mrs. Sevy are parents of 6 sons and daughters, 5 of whom are still living: Jay, Salt Lake City: Mrs. EIReda Nay, Marvin, both of Clearfield; Mrs. Dan (Mira) Malan. Mrs. Eldon (Sarah) Bailey, both of Ogden. They have 15 grandchildren and 5 greatgrandchildren. |
