Show Local and Society I TO WED 1 ' aal aa Miss Verge an Chynoweth Mr. and Mrs. Gene Chynoweth of Tropic announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Vergean, to Stephen George Clark, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ma rion Clark of Cannonville. A February 21 wedding at the Tropic church Is planned. Everyone is Invited to attend a reception at 8:00 in the evening. LOYHOVA CAMP MEETS Loyhova Camp DUP held their January meeting at the home of Ruby Roe, with President Nettle Dowdell presiding and conducting. Suggested lesson song "Just Twenty Years Ago" read by Mary TV Sargent. Song by group, "Silver Threads Among The Gold." Prayer. Jean LeFe-vre. Readings, "A House by the Side of the Road." "You Can't Tako It With Yon" and "Farewell to an Old Stew Pan." by Amelia Woodard. lesson by Susa Walker, "Diary of William Wood." He was the father of Jean W. LeFevre. He was a convert to the LDS're-ligion and came to Utah as a young man. A very Interesting story of his life's activities was read. Suggested lesson song, "It is not He and the Night is Coming On." Group singing "The Quilting Party." Refreshments were served to 13 members by hostesses Ruby Roe snd Eunice Middle-ton. t TO WED aHlflaaaaaV Miss Marldon WbJttaker Mr. and Mrs. Donald C. Whit-taker of Circleville announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Maridon, to William Arthur Crosby, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur G. Crosby of Panguitch. The couple will be married March 19 in the St. George LD.S. Temple, with a reception in their honor on March 21 at the Piute High School. Miss Whittaker is an honor graduate of Piute High School and attended Brigham Young University. She is a student at Southern Utah State College at Cedar City where she is a member of the Thunderette Marching group. A former 4-H Style Dress Revue winner, she is currently an attendant of Miss Piute County Mr. Crosby graduated from Panguitch High School and attended Utah State University. He is now a student at Southern Utah State College. He filled an L D S Mission in the South Central States. |
