Show Local and Society TO WED Mr. and Mrs. Warren L. Will-den of Tropic announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Nina Rebecca, and William P. Burrows, son of Mr. and Mrs. Phil S. Burrows of Pangultch. The young couple li to be wed at the home of the bride's parents at 6 o'clock in the evening of Saturday, January 24th. QUESTERS MEET Quest rs wa? held at the South ward January 8th, with ten members present. A piano selection, "The Palm Branches," was played by Linda Henrie. A reading, "Levi's Wedding," was given by Jerrie Packrell. Connie Barney and Leneice Heywood sang two songs, "Leaving On a Jet Plant" and "Today." Lett-iece accompanied them on the guitar. Vickie Davis talked about "Dressing by Design." Tli March of Dimes packet was distributed to members and the March will be conducted during the month of January. The new officers took over their duties. Games were played and a nice dinner was served. Hostesses were Jerrie Packrell, Karen Breinholt and Marilyn Brinkerhoff. ENGAGED Miss JoAnn CUdester Mr. and Mrs. D. L. Chldester of Chula Vista, Calif, announce the engagement of their daughter, JoAnn, to Robert Alan Parker. JoAnn is a granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lorls Chldester of Pangultch. The wedding will be held sometime in the spring ENGAGED bbbbUbW Miss Roma Talbot Mr. and Mrs. Roy H. Talbot of Pangultch announce the engagement of their daughter, Roma, to Hal J. WUcock, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gale O. Wil-cock of Hatch. A definite date for the wedding has not been made. The bride-elect is a senior at Pangultch High School. Mr WUcock has attended school at SUCS and recently returned from the North British mission where he spent 2tt years. TO WED ""-- ' Miss Betty Lou Lovell January 24th has been circled as a wedding date for Miss Betty Lou Lovell and Glen L. Jolley. Plans are being made for rites in the Manti Temple. That evening there will be a reception held in their honor at Oak City. The bride-elect Is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Burton F. Lovell of Oak City. The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Thelma Jolley of Tropic. Miss Lovell graduated from Delta High School, served a mission for the LDS Church in the West Centr-1 States, and is employed at T.in's A.G. Market In Cedar City. Mr. Jolley graduated ftom Bryce Valley High School and from SUSC with a Bachelor, degree in Business. He also served an LDS Mission in the New Eng-gland States. Tin young couple will live in Cedar City. TO WED Miss Arlene Sevy Mr. and Mrs. Harold Sevy announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Arlene, to Jerold Dee Andeson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dee Anderson of Koosh-arem. The couple will be married Feb. 21st in Pangultch. They will make their hime in Pangultch while Arlene finishes high school and Jerold recovers from surgery |
