Show TO WED Miss Mary Carol Clark ENGAGED Miss Zelroa Porter Mrs. Sarah Porter of Hatch announces the engagement of her daughter Zelma to Amnion Johnson of OrdervWe. Tho couple plans a temple wedding in September. Announcing the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Mary Carol Clark to Joel H Izatt are Mr. and Mrs. W. K. Clark of Glen City, Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Izatt of Sunset are the parents of the future bridegroom. Manti Temple will be the setting for the nuptials on February 23rd. Miss Clark recently filled a LDS mission, serving in the Southwest British mission. Mr. Izatt filled- a LDS mission in the British mission. He is attending school In Los Angeles, he graduates in August. They plan on making their home in Boston, Mass. McINELLY GRIFFIN Miss Judy Mclnelly became the bride of Lynn S. Griffin in a ceremony at the St. George LDS Temple on Jan. 30th. Accompaning the couple to the temple were the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Mclnelly, her grandmother Mary R. Mclnelly, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Griffin, Mr. and Mrs. Usher Spencer, Mrs. Lea Griffin of Escalante, and Mrs. Sylvia Graf of Santa Clara. Following the wedding the young couple left for a honeymoon trip to Las Vegas. They returned home for a reception in their honor, held Feb. 2nd in the South ward Mr. and Mrs. Lynn S. Griffin church. Standing with the groom as best man was his brother Gene Griffin; others in the receiving line were Alburn Griffin, father of the groom; Mrs. Von Perkins, a sister; parents of the bride; Mrs. Mary Davis, matron of honor; Garna Willis, maid of honor; Ann Griffin and Gre-na Mclnelly, bridesmaids ; As-eneth, Cindy, and Suzette Mclnelly, flower girls. Special guests from CSU were friends of the bride: Kathleen McCoy of Tooele, Lynette Young of Richfield and Shirlene Davis of Pleasant Grove. Sherill Davis was master of ceremonies for the program presented after which refreshments were served and the rest of the evening was spent in dancing. The Dride is a graduate of EHS and has been attending the CSU. Lynn is a graduate of EHS and has recently returned from completing a two and one half years LDS mission to the Netherlands. They are living at Cedar City. |
