Show Josephine And Dwight Fullmer Mark Their Golden Wedding Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Dwight L. (Josephine Church) Fullmer, 647 Redondo Ave., Salt Lake City, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at an open house Feb. 5th, from 7 to 10:00 p.m. in the Wells Ward, 1990 South 5th East, Salt Lake City. They were married February 1, 1916, in St. George and later solemnized in the St. George ID.S. Temple. The Couple lived first in Panguitch and then in Circle-ville for 44 years. While there Mr. Fullmer taught school for eighteen , years. He was County Commissioner and school board .member for twelve -years. He was a town board president and served as a member of the bishopric for many years. He -served -on-the- draft- board r during World War H. He was a farmer and livestock producer. After retiring he served two terms in the Utah State legislature as the representative from Piute County. Mrs. Fullmer was born and raised in St. George. During her life in Circlevllle she was very active in the Relief Society, serving in the Ward Presidency. She was counselor in the Garfield Stake Presidency for nine years. She was president of the Better Homes Club and secretary of the PTA. She has been a member of the Relief Society for forty-five years and is still active in it. She is a member of the Wells Camp of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. They have four children; Dr. Cyril D. Fullmer, Clem Fullmer and Mrs. Kenneth (Roma) Proctor all of Salt Lake City, and Dr. Bryan Fullmer of Yuba City, California, and 13 grand-rhildren. (They request no gifts, please.) |
