Show Funeral Services For Andrew H. Schow Funeral services for Andrew II. (Bish) Schow were held March 19 in the South ward church with Claron Griffin in charge. Prayer for the family was by Warren Schow; preludo and postlude music by Areola Gates who also accompanied the singing; opening song, "Prayer Perfect" by Singing Mothers; invocation, E. Dee Haws; talk, Bishop Morris Shirts; song, "In The Garden", Veda Mitchell and Ver-,da .Liston; talk, Lorell Mun-son; song, "I Walked In God's Garden", by Evadcan Hamilton; talk, J. Clyde Spencer; closing song, "The Lord's Prayer", by Singing Mothers; benediction, Usher Spencer. Dedication of the grave was by Lovell Twitchell. All of his children were here as well as many other relatives and friends. The well attended services were inspirational 'and the abundance of flowers beautiful. Mildred accompanied Warren back to Salt Lake. Mr. Schow, 79, died of natural causes March 15 at his home. He was born Aug. 21, 1883 in Escalante to James and Annie Hansen Schow. On Aug. 8, 1904 he married Susannah Spencer in Escal-Iante,-marriag.was .later--. sol emnized in the Manti Temple; she died Nov. 14, 1918. On Jan. 28, 1920 he married Andrew II. (Bish) Schow Mildred Twitchell Mclnelly in Escalante, the marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple. He was a farmer and stockman. Survivors: widow; daughters, sons: Mrs. Arnold (Zel-la) Alvey, Mrs. Clayton (Iris) Porter, Ronald, all of Escalante; Mrs. J. H. (Lcda) Emery, Mrs. F. M. (Oma) Jemison, Mrs. Thomas (Mur iel) Davenport, Mrs. Gayle (Maxine) Alvey, Warren A., Dick, Marlow, James C, all of Salt Lake; Mrs. Guy (Twl-la)Leming, Rosemead, Calif; stepdaughter, Mrs. George (LaVr lamlUon, Escalante; 58 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren; brother Michael, Escalante. |
