Show ROUNDY- REED Mr. and Mrs. Howard E. Rccd Miss Renon Roundy became the bride of Howard E. Reed on February 16 in a double ring ceremony performed by LDS Bishop Vernon Spencer at the Escalante North ward chapel. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Roundy of Escalante. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Reed of Challis, Idaho are parents of the groom. A reception followed on the same evening at the High School auditorium. Decora tions carried out Valentine colors of red and white. For the occasion the bride was attired in a floor length dress of white nylon lace and tulle over taffeta, with a scalloped neckline outlined with tiny seed pearls. A single tiered crown of nylon lace, seed pearls and crystals held, her veil of -French illusion; her bouquet consisted of white carnations and red rose buds. Mrs. LaRae Roundy, sister-in-law of the bride, was matron of honor. Attendants were Mrs. Pauline Lott, Mrs. Janet Spencer, Mrs. Gerald-ine Liston and Miss Utahna Liston. Cheryl and Colette Roundy were flower girls. Doyle Leuginger was best man; ushers were Vernon Roundy and Tom Ried. The new Mrs. Reed graduated from Escalante High School in 1961 and attended the College of Southern Utah. The bridegroom is a graduate of Challis High School in 1959. He is employed by the Forest Service as surveyor engineer. The couple plan to make their home in Challis, Idaho. |
