Show BURROWS ALEXANDER Mrs. Kay Alexander Reva Burrows and Kay Alexander were married Dec. 29th In the Salt Lake Temple. The bride is a daughter of. James H. Burrows and foster daughter of Mrs. Effel B. Riggs. The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Marion E. Alexander of Roosevelt A reception and dancing were held in the Hatch ward hall the evening of the 30th. The bride's dress was a floor length gown of white velvet with seed pearls trimming the neckline. The veil was tulle with a crown of seed pearls. The young couple honeymooned in Calif. They will .make their home at Salt Lake. WILSON DAVIS Lyle W. Davis claimed Miss : Marie Wilson for his bride in a ceremony solemnized in the St George Temple on Dec. 16. Attending the temple rites were Marie's parents Mr. and Mrs. Jesse S. Wilson; mother of the groom Mrs. Verna Davis of Ogden; his brother Roger from USUl the FerreU La-zenbys of Blaiiding; the Russell Wilsons' bf Hatch; Agnes Wilson of St. George; Virginia and Grace Wilson of Salt Lake City. That evening a reception in Hatch honored the newly weds. As she greeted the guests the bride wore a floor-length gown of lace and tulle. The fitted bodice featured long tapered sleeves and the full skirt was styled with tiers j of lace. A crown of pearls re- ! leased her shoulder length ; veil of illusion. She carried a bouquet of red roses and carnations. Miss Virginia Wilson, the bride's sister was maid of honor. Miss Izola Wilson and Miss Tamara Russell were bridesmaids. Carolyn Wilson was flower girl. Mrs. Melvin Wilkes was an attendant. Best man was the groom's brother Roger Davis. Ushers were Karl and Robert Wilson. The newly weds are at home at 887 1st Ave., Salt Lake City. |
