Show Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Davis of rahgultch announced the engagement of their daughter Barbara K.. to Gayle E. Taylor at a dinner party held Feb. 6th at the Finlandla Restaurant In Salt Lake City. Tho future bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Orson E Taylor Of Salt Iake City. The young couplo will be married in the Salt Lake Temple In June; a reception will be hold that evening at Memorial House, Memory Grove Miss Davis Is a graduate of Panguitch High School and Is now attending DarrcH's College of Dcauty at Salt Lake. Mr. Taylor attended the University of Utah and also fulfilled an LDS mission to Australia. ENGAGED Miss Barbara K. Davis NEIiSON LISTON Marie Nelson anu Donald Liston were married January 25th in the Logan Temple; the bride is a daughter of Mrs Sibyl Nelson of Richmond, Utah, and the bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Liston of Escalante. Follo'ving the ceremony a reception was held in the Richmond Community build ing with the following in the reception line: the bride and bridegroom and ttheir mothers; the best man, Lane Liston, brother of Donald; the bridesmaid, LaRee Anderson, and flower girl Criss Dow-man. Geraldlne Liston and Veda Mitchell helped with the refreshments which were served buffet style with a green and white color scheme. The wedding cake was white with a touch of pink. The bride's dress was of white semi-sheer nylon embroidered with flowers, it had a fitted bodice, full skirt and threo quarter length sleeves. Her bouquet was white roses and orchids. The mothers bouquets were white roses and the bridesmaid's was one rose and split carnations; the groom and best man had roses in their lapels and ushers had carnations. The young couple honeymooned in Las Vegas for two weeks, then returned to their jobs, he at Panguitch and she teaching in the local High School. They will live In Panguitch when school Is out. |
