Show Englesteads To Celebrate inniflfirsar.y Mr, and Mrs. Marion H. En-glcstead will celebrate their Golden Wedding anniversary Saturday, Sept. 26, with an open house at the Frank Richards home from 2 to 7 p.m. They wish' to extend an Invitation to their friends to call. Marion H. was born at Asay, Garfield County, a son of Brady and Sine Sorensen Engle-stead. He spent his early life In Mt. Carmel, Utah, and filled a two-year mission for the LDS Church. Ellen M. (Nellie) Owens was born August 8, 1887 at Pangultch, a daughter of William T. and Mary Emily Jones Ow6ns. On Sept. 23, 1909 they were married In the Manti Temple. They spent most of their married life in Pangultch, with the exception of 10 years In Boulder City, Nev. Since 1954 they have lived at St. George where they are ordinance workers in the Temple. They have been active In church and civic organizations. They are the parents of 9 children, 6 of whom are living: Mrs. Howard (Gwen)' Jones, Paragonah; Mrs. Alvln (Maxlne) Kieffer, Bountiful; Mrs. Henry (LaPreel) Lin-ford, Van and Clem, all of Henderson, Nev.; Ray, of St. George; they have 24 grandchildren and 11 great grand children. |
