Show Permanent Organization off Garland Military Band Wednesday evoning at the Tithing office, an enthusiastic meeting was held for tho purpose pur-pose of organizing our Military Band. Fred L. Rogers was chairman of the meeting and Henry Manning secretary. Tho investigating committee appointed ap-pointed reported instruments to bo in a rather poor condition and that a number of new ones vjould have to be purchased; also thatsomoof the suits could not be located. An organization known as the Garland Military Band was effected with tho following officers: David Dorton, president; presi-dent; Jos. H. Wallis, secretary. A motion carried that an invitation in-vitation bo extended to East Garland's Military Band to come and take part in rehearsals, rehear-sals, etc. The first practice will bo hold at tho Garland- hall next Tuesday Tues-day night. |
