Show Returned Missionaries Elder James Jensen returned home Monday night of this week from Denmark, where ho has been performing missionary mission-ary labors for tho past two years and live months. Ho is feeling well and enjoyed good health during his absence. Elder Jensen spent most of his time in Aalborg, Jylland, and presided over thr Aalborg conference con-ference for a season. Ho mot some opposition, but reports tho work progressing in that locality. Ho had the pleasure of witnessing the midnight sun and states that" he enjoyed his labors very much. From tho time ho was released releas-ed until. his arrival .home about thirty days elapsed during which time he visited portions of Europe and some of tho larger cities of America. The sea. was rough on the return journey and he experienced some of tho pleasures (?) of sea-sickness. Elder Geo. D. Thompson of Clarkston, accompanied by Miss Esther Godfrey of that place, spent last week and part of thir week in our city. Ho returned in December, 1910, from the Western States Mission where ho had been for the past- two years or more Ho enjoyed his labors and is feeling well. Elder Henry L. King of Farmington, brother of Thos. E. and F. E. King of this city, who returned from filling a mission in tho Western States last October, was in Garland this week. Ho like the above named Elders also enjoyed his labors and was blessed with health and permitted to return in peaco and safety. |
