Write, call or 'phone. 2t The Garland base ball nine defeated the Logan Leagers in a score of 3 to 2 Thursday. Yesterday Garland played a game with the Wellsville boys, but we were unable to secure the results as we wont to press. Thursday night's rain storm was as welcome as the flowers in May. It has been trying to rain for the past months, but every cloud was a wind-clond and ended in a wind-storm prior to this welcome little soak-up. soak-up. President M. II. Welling, Counselors P. M. Hansen and Joseph Jensen of the Bear River stake, wore in Ogden last Sunday in attendance at the general Priesthood convention of the Ogden, Webor and North Weber stakes. The meetings wore held in the Ogden Tabernacle, Taber-nacle, the Weber Stake Academy Aca-demy building and over-How sessions hold in the various ward houses. It was one of the 'largest Priesthood sessions ever held in 'Ogden. B. H. Roberts, Thos. B. Evans and David O. McKay were the principal prin-cipal speakers at tho evening session held in the Tabernacle. |
