Show An Alaskan Luncheon. Runners of woven Indian basketry, with white drawnwork dollies at each of tho 12 covers, wero used on an oval mahogany tablo. Tho dollies wero mado at Sitka. In the middle of tho tablo a mirror held n tall central vase of frosted glass, surrounded by four smaller vases, all filled with white spring blossoms. The edgo of tho mirror was bankod with the samo flowers. Four totem poles wore placed on dollies In tbo angles mado by tho runners. Placo cards wero water colors of Alaskan scenery. Abalono shells held salted nuts, and tiny Indian baskets held bonbons. Tho soup spoons wero of horn, sovcrnl of tho dishes used wore mado by Alaskan Indians, and tho enkes wero served on baskets. Tho menu wns as follows: Poloson a la Bering Sea (halibut chowder), Yukon climbers (broiled salmon, potatoes po-tatoes Jullenno), snowbirds avoc auroraborcalls (roast duck with Jelly), Shungnak river turnips, Tnnnna beets, Skngway hash (salad), Fairbanks Fair-banks nuggets (ripe strawborrlos arranged ar-ranged on individual dlBhcs around n central mound of powdered sugar), arctic slices (brick Ice cream), Circle City delights (smnll cakes), Klondike nuggets (yellow clieeso in round balls on crackers), Nome firewater (coffeo).
