On Tuesday night the Y L M I A gave thu Y M M I A a surprise Tho bishop Invited all the young men to bo present at a special meeting, as there was some items of interest to be attended to. There was a splcndcd attendance and meeting was commenced by siuglng a bymn. Then the young ladles came trooping in. Well, there was a lotof the most surprised men you over saw. They looked perfectly silly, It took somo of them a half-hour to recover themselves aHd act natural. Not ono of them had J tho least suspicion of a surprise. Tho young ladles furnished a splendid pro- j gram aud refreshments. All enjoyed It very much Bud would bo willing to at- tend more mvctlngs of this kind. Gathering up a crowd and quietly slipping slip-ping Into a neighbor's house and spend- . lug the evening is quite the order of tho times. ' J. F.
