Show County Commissioners. The Comity Commissioner! met Monday i Dee. On motion he was paid for the excavating, but the matter of the bridge ' was referred to the road com- missioners. Clock could not act as registrar of vital statistics at Kelton and the name of Mis. Rose Jardine was suggested. A communication was received receiv-ed from Beich M. F. G. Co. relative to grading machinery. From John Lind, stating that the roads in the Junction district dis-trict were in need of repairs. From C. M. Clay relative to the ioad extending through his land. The matters was referred to Chairman Valentine and the county load commissioner. From HeberE. Smyth relative to surveying in county. From Caleb Tanner of the State Road Commissioner relative rela-tive to county map. County surveyor is now working on same. iThe matter of Utah sheep being be-ing in Idaho most of the time and assessed here was referred to district attorny. Hansen appeared relative rela-tive to high assessment on land. Hoad "ommissioner Pierce reported re-ported his investigation of the v gravel pit at East Garland. Mr. Larsen also appeared relative rel-ative to same pit and, upon motion, the matter was referred tOiuessrs. Richards, Pierce and county surveyor with power to act. Several claims were allowed. Miss Clair Christensen appeared appear-ed and asked the commissioners to assist the Red Cross Association Associa-tion by using Red Sross stamps on the county mail. The general county and incidental in-cidental expense claims of the county were presented and accepted. ac-cepted. Upon motion, the road commissioner com-missioner was instructed to notify E. H. Taylor to remove the fence ho has placed in the road at Yost. The attorney was instructed to write the Curley Telephone Co. to take out a franchise at once. The proposition of securing a new right of way and removing fence at Collinston through Mr. Fryer's property was deferred. The petition of William Yost was granted on condition that he leave a two-rod right of way on the south and east side of his land. The road commissioner was instructed to get one scraper and one plow for East Garland. Fift y dollars was appropriated to repair the road at Reaver dam. |
