Editor Garland Globo, Dear Brother: I drop you a short note for publication publi-cation to let my friends know that 1 am still alive and havo not forgotten them. For tho past flvo weeks. myself, President Pre-sident Robinson and Elder Alvln KIddlngton hnvo been visiting the colonies of saints in Mexico and Arizona. Ari-zona. Wo found tho saints In good spirits nnd enjoying tho blessings of tho Lord. Wo traveled about 3,000 miles, visited vis-ited six colonics and gave eight concerts. con-certs. Tho object of our vlBlt was to show tho saints how the talents the Lord had blessed us with had been Improved by ou'r own efforts and to encourngo tho young peoplo (n the art of music. We mado many frlonds among them being the relatives of Sanford Bingham who all send love to him. While traveling In tho Serra Nevada mountnlns for a week wo visited an old cavo which is supposed to havo been inhabited by tho ancients. an-cients. Wo met many friends of Mrs. Mnry Wanlass and family. Wo woro presont at the January conference confer-ence and had tho privilege ot both singing and preaching, Elder Ked-dtngton Ked-dtngton and I spent u week In Arizona Arizo-na with Nephi Bingham and family. Wo had a llttlo experience In milking milk-ing cows nnd breaking bronchos. Wo visited, tho old San Xavier mission mis-sion about nine miles out ot Tuscon. It is said to be 370 yoars old and It Is still in use. It appear to me that tho peoplo 300 or 400 yonrs ago wero vory bright In tho arts and sclonces. I will never forget my trip to Mexico Mexi-co nnd Arizona. I havo learned many valuablo lessons and my testimony testi-mony has been strengthened.
