McCoy and wife wulkcd from Cache Junction-, whore thoy bad boen working for tho past two or three woeks and. were forced to take to a tent by tho sickness sick-ness of tho woman , In tho early morning morn-ing hours, Mr. McCoy walkod Into town to summon medical aid and the arrival of tho Dr. at the tent found tho woman lying on a thin pallet of straw In ono corner, without covering or Arc, the tent damp and cold'from tho rain, and no convcnloncco for- tho arrival of the baby, who had been born sovcral hourn beforo help could be obtained. Mrs. McCoy had .been loft nlono during this tlmo to suffur the paugg of childbirth, but bora hor lot without complaint. She was loft as comfornblo as possible and jAtcr in the morning aid was summoned from tho people of Colllnston who responded res-ponded freely and willingly with gifts of food and clothing. After some preparation pre-paration of the young mother and her four-pound 'daughter, thoy were removed remov-ed by order of the justlc of tho poaco, Hyrum Jensen, to Brawn's Hotel, where they are at present under tho care of the County physician.
