Clara Rosen, soloist so-loist In tho Lutheran church at Ottumwa, Ottum-wa, was murdered In nn unusually atrocious manner Friday night, February Feb-ruary 5. Her badly mutilated body was found Saturday and n desperato search will be made to capture her slayer. Miss Rosen, who was a beautiful woman, 28 years old, was to havo been married, it Is understood, to San-ford San-ford Carlson of Ironton, Wyo., 'a mlno owner. Tho pollco say this love affair af-fair was the cause of hor death. They say a disappointed suitor murdered his former sweetheart. Two suspects sus-pects havo been arrested, John .Martin and William Travors. both of whom stoutly protest their Innocence.
