Show Fast Day Services. The semi-annual conference of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latlcr-day Salnts coming on the first Sunday In October, necessitated holding the regular Fast day services one week earlier and last Sunday was the appointed time. Owing to the campalgu rush and the funeral of the Wood's child at Fielding, the attendance waa quite small. The services were presided over by Second Couubcior Joseph Jensen, the ward choir furnlshlug the staging under the direction direc-tion of Chorifttcr W II Crandall. Prayer by B S Trunucll. Tho sacrumeut was administered by Elders Olof Jobusou and Peter Bobs. During tho passing of the sacrcment the choir sang "How Great the Wisdom" etc. W II Crandall wm honorable released from the duties of ward clerk aud Her bert U Foulger was chosen and sustained in that position. The following were named as acting ward teachers: Jruuw Thompson, Peter Jensen aud Johu J. Hhumway. F. D. Welling aud August Jeppsou were selected as class leaders In thu Y'M M I Assn. John J. Shumway was cboscu chorister of the orguuizatiou aud M. (. llausen assistant secretary. The followiug speakers bore testimony and mudo lutercsllug remarks: David 11 Foulger, Wm Preston, Louise Clark, Vf II Crundnll, A II Archibald, Matthuw MeMurtriu and Joseph Jenseu. Singing.
