Show Missionary Letter. 09 Somerset St., Richmond, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Editor Garland Globe: Easter week it over and the elders and talntt are rejoicing over our successful labors and the pleasure wo have had during the last two wuoks. March 20th, Melville Moore and wife, were baptized-intn tho church, Elder O A Dcspaln performing tho ceremony. April 1st wc Elders with number of saint and friends went on a picnic outing out-ing to Fern Tree Gully, 28 miles from Melbourne. A pleasant day was tpent. It Is a beautiful pleasure resort and about 4.400 people went out that day by rail and several thousand in carts, traps, etc. Enroute we bad the plcaauro of seeing flvo yoko of oxen hitched to a wagon which was quite a sight to we Utah boys. Wo are having a little rain for a change which Is very much needed horo in Victoria. Vic-toria. There is an advance in prices on wood, bread, milk, eggs and vegetable which makes It hard for the poor to secure a living and tho recent strike threw many mun out of employment. Times are dull Rut fuw of the working clast owu their homes. Wood Is !8c per cwt., skim milk 8c per quart, egga 86c per doten and other eatables in comparison.
