Show DEATH OF MRS C 0 ROSKELLEY the dread epidemic which has gripped this community for or tile the past two weeks claimed its first victim this morning shortly after eight when sirs mrs ella smith roskelley wife 0 of former city manager C 0 roshel koskel ley gave up the valiant struggle she has been making for a number of days clays and passed away mrs airs roskelley no skelley contracted influenza luenz about a week ago and pneumonia developed ve loped because of her physical condition her ter case was complicated and serious from the outset mr air roskelley and the four children also came down with the malady ni alady as did mrs airs ros I tos a who wao was nicking her home here and this circumstance aggravated grava ted the situation greatly for a number of days I 1 mrs Roskel leys I 1 condition has been up and down and it was confidently hoped that hat site she would bo be able to weather it through last evening a decided change for the worse came and those watching at the bedside recognized that the crisis had come everything that could be done to loosen the grip 0 of the malady was done but mrs airs Roskel leys vitality gave out early this morning and the end came quickly mrs roskelley Ros kelloy was the daughter of mrs airs J P smith of logan where she was born april 25 1838 she re acu avi in the logs logan n schools graduating from the B Y college in 1809 1909 she became the wife of mr roskelley june 15 1910 being married in the logan temple and they came to brigham city soon after air roskelley having accepted a on tile the high school faculty the family has resided here since that time and mrs roskelley Ro shelley has been a prominent worker lit in the community in the ward organizations and in the kindergarten club being one of its charter members and a former president of the organization she was a woman of high attainments and was wa devoted to her husband children and home she was the me mother ot of our beautiful children eunice lowell rigby and dean she Is also survived by her mother and the following brothers and sisters mrs B J griffin ogden mrs H P barrows rows corvallis oregon J P smith jr leslie A smith jessie smith percy smith orita smith logan and edwin S smith grace idaho her father died last april the passing of 0 this good woman has stirred the sympathies of 0 this community to the very depths and a flood of tender interest goes out to mr air roskelley and his family in their bereavement funeral arrangements have not yet been completed |
