Show ONE OF THE FIELD FUH SUMMER SCHOOL STUDENTS this gnarled year old juniper tree entrenched in the crags of logan canyon and said to be the oldest r representative of its species in tile the w world orld will be the objective of one of the interesting field trips to be taken by students and faculty members of tile the utah agricultural college nation al summer school the tree was visited last summer by prof henry C cowles of tile the botany department odthe of the university of chicago and his class in utah flora prof cowles is returning to fill an engagement in the second national summer school june 15 to july 25 this delightful mountain excursion will be repeated other kotlier trips to be taken include in fo te resting mountain canyon and lake outings the recreational phase of the session will be in charge of celebrated pi play experts prof peter W dykema oy of columbia will be in charge of community singing and other musical work during his weeks sojourn in logan wiss miss mary alary wood hinman of chicago will be in charge of ing and pageantry and miss aliss edna geister of play and games tile the summer school will offer the services of twenty eight celebrated educators representing a dozen of tile the leading colleges and universities of america the courses will offer graduate or undergraduate credit and continue over a term of six weeks or full summer quarter |
